Many families still value the tradition of a hearse and the coffin being carried by pallbearers into the chapel. The Simplicity Service retains these traditional elements, offering a respectful and meaningful way to say goodbye.

This service includes the transfer of your loved one into our care, day or night, our standard medium oak coffin, a hearse, and professional pallbearers. A full service can be arranged, allowing family and friends to gather, with the option of a minister or celebrant to lead the ceremony.

Due to recent changes at Kirkleatham Crematorium, families can now choose between the following morning service options:

A 30-minute service at 9am or 9:30am, with attendance limited to 25 people.

A 1-hour service at 9am, 10am or 4pm at Kirkleatham Crematorium, with no restriction on the number of attendees.

A 1 hour service at 10am at Teesside Crematorium, with no restrictions on the number of attendees. 

 

Services can also be arranged at alternative crematoria, although restrictions on service times apply.

Please note that third-party costs are not included within this service. This includes cremation fees and minister or celebrant fees, which can be arranged according to your preferences.

 

50 orders of service (funeral booklets) are included and can be personalised to reflect the individuality of your loved one. We can also assist with arranging floral tributes, placing a notice in the Gazette, providing web links, or organising any additional services you may require.

Your dedicated funeral director will be there to guide and support you throughout, ensuring every detail is handled with care and sensitivity.
